Logan Henderson won his second consecutive departure to start his career in the major and Rhys Hoskins leagues had four strokes and won five points in the 9-5 victory by Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday against the Cleveland Guardians host.
Henderson (2-0) worked five innings, granting two points on four strokes with seven stick withdrawals during his second appearance in the big league. The right-hander was in Triple-A Nashville since he won his debut on April 20 against athletics.
Big Blow of Hoskins was a two-point circuit in Joey Cantillo’s seventh, pushing Milwaukee’s advance at 7-2. The Brewers had been bleached in the first two games in the three-game series by a 7-0 combined score.
Jake Bauers and Hoskins had simple RBIs in the sixth of three points, when Caleb Durbin was also affected by a JAKOB junis field with the loaded bases.
William Contreras had three shots and scored four times while Milwaukee equaled his total points compared to the five previous games, when he won only once.
Tim Herrin (3-1) took defeat after abandoning two points and recording only one in the sixth.
The Guardians got closer up to 7-5 on the three-point Jose Ramirez circuit during the seventh against Jared Koenig. Kyle Manzardo had a solo shot in the second and Nolan Jones managed a simple in the fourth.
Leaving the guards Gavin Williams launched five heats, abandoning two points in four strokes. The right -hander returned a circuit to Sal Flicel and succeeded in six sticks to the stick.
Cleveland finished his six-game house with a 3-3 file against Philadelphia and Milwaukee. The Guardians are in a section of 12 interligue competition games.
The Brewers only had 25 players in uniform after placing the left -hander Jose Quintana on the injured list with an impact of the shoulder. Launcher Tobias Myers was promoted to Nashville but could not go to Cleveland in time.
