NTMR concludes a perfect opening weekend at OWCS Na Stage 2

By taking advantage of two games on the opening weekend, NTMR beat Spacetation Gaming on Sunday to become the first team to improve at 2-0 in the Overwatch Champions North America Stage 2 series.

After swept away Sakura Esports on Saturday, NTMR needed four cards on Sunday to get a space after abandoning Ilios Control 2-0 to open the match. NTMR rebounded with three consecutive victories: 3-1 on Royal Escort circuit, 3-2 on Suravasa Flashpoint and 144.16 m at 53.27 m on Runasapi Push.

In the other match of the day, Geekay Esports swept supernova in the first game for each team. Geekay took Ilios Control 2-0 to open the match, then won 1-0 on the Royal Escort circuit and closed it from 131 m to 97.82 m on Runasapi Push.

The tournament, played online, presents eight teams. The round of the regular season will end on June 15, with six qualification teams heading for the regional double elimination qualifiers.

The three best teams will go to the mid-season championship and stadium 3 in North America. The price has not yet been determined.
