It was an emotional day in court for the friends and family of the rapper of Nova Scotia Pat Stay because they heard details on the night he was stabbed to a bar in Halifax.
The Crown called on Wednesday his witness during the trial for second degree murder for Adam Joseph Drake.
Sgt. Perry Astephen of the Halifax regional police explained to the jury how the police responded to the call of a man on September 4, 2022.
He said that when the police arrived at the Yacht Social Club on Lower Water Street, the region swarmed clubs.

He testified that around 100 people relaxed around the stay, which was lying on the ground by two officers.
The sobs could be heard in the gallery of Stay’s wife, Malessa, while the scene described the scene.
He said that there was blood on the road in a path leading to the entrance to the club, and that when he entered inside to try to secure the scene, the managers were reluctant to help and had even started to mop up.
The crown then showed members of video surveillance images of the club’s back jury. He has shown that the rest of entering the bar and up to a group of people who seem to greet him normally, before there was visible agitation.
During reading the video, Stay’s loved ones broke out in sobs – many calling on the accused of “burning in hell”.
Stay, who was 36, was well known on the hip -hop scene among many renowned artists – including Eminem. His death attracted tributes and commemorative monuments of the local community and fans.
