On the official Instagram page of the royal family, a photo of the Duke of Edinburgh from his meeting with the new Pope has been released.
The message alongside the picture reads, “The Duke of Edinburgh meets Pope Leo XIV following his Inaugural Mass at the Vatican. His Royal Highness was representing The King at yesterday’s event which marked the official start of the new Papacy.”
