Having won their first IPL trophy in the 2025 season, RCB would like to retain the core, when it comes to the IPL retention 2026. Some one the players really fired all cylinders for them, and it is only fair, that they get another run. The IPL retention are due to take place on November 15, and InsideSport takes a look at the all-rounders RCB can retain ahead of IPL 2026 auction.
RCB all-rounder retention list for IPL 2026
Krunal Pandya: The senior Pandya turned out to be an asset for the team, and played a crucial role in taking the team to their first ever title win in IPL 2025. So, it goes without any doubt, that Krunal Pandya should be in IPL retention list for RCB, ahead of IPL 2026 auction. Just for the record, he picked up 17 wickets in 15 matches, and scored 109 runs lower down the order.
Romario Shepherd: The West Indian is the kind of back up player, that any team would like to have. This year he played eight matches, picked up 6 wickets, and scored a fifty with the bat too. So, he should be in the IPL retention 2026 list as well.
Jacob Bethell: Before the season started, many expected the English all-rounder to play a big part in the team setup, but he appeared in two matches only. In that, he did not get to bowl, but did score a fifty with the bat. So, he can be someone who could serve RCB for a long time to come.
