On Wednesday, the Patriots of New England announced the signing of the free agent running back Trayveon Williams.
The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

In a corresponding decision, the Patriots released the defensive platform Eric Johnson II, which was claimed from derogation from the Indianapolis colts last August.
