Mandhana had entered the Women’s ODI World Cup as the number one batter, while Rodrigues has made the top ten for the second time in her career.

After India’s title run in the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup, there have been significant changes in the ICC batting rankings. For starters, South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt has achieved her career-best rating to dethrone Smriti Mandhana as the No. 1 batter in the world.

Jemimah Rodrigues back in Top 10

Mandhana had entered the tournament at the top but moved down to No. 3 midway. She’s gained another spot, but Wolvaardt reigns supreme for now. The South African captain had ended the Women’s ODI World Cup as the highest run scorer and hit back-to-back centuries in the semifinal and final.

Jemimah Rodrigues, who played one of the greatest innings in the record-breaking chase in the semifinal against Australia, has re-entered the top ten, gaining 9 spots. Rodrigues had made the top ten for the first time in her ODI career after the Women’s ODI World Cup opener on October 30 and, after the tournament, has broken in again.
