The NFL revealed participants in international matches of this season in Ireland, England, Germany and Spain on Tuesday.
The League had previously announced that the Los Angeles Loaders will open the season in Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil, September 5, but their opponent will not be known before the release of Wednesday calendar.
The Vikings of Minnesota will become the first team to play consecutive international competitions in different countries, against the Steelers of Pittsburgh in Dublin on September 28 in Croke Park before playing the Cleveland Browns in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on October 5.
“Playing in the very first NFL match of Ireland is an opportunity to present new fans to the Vikings du Minnesota and to help the League continue to make football more accessible worldwide,” said the owner of the Vikings, Mark Wilf, in a press release. “To do this, against a legendary franchise like the Pittsburgh Steelers adds a unique challenge that makes it even more special. We are honored to be selected for this historic game and which will be impatient to see what promises to be an electric play environment at Croke Park.”
The action continues in London on October 12 with the Broncos de Denver against New York Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, followed by Los Angeles Rams facing Jacksonville Jaguars at the Wembley stadium on October 19.
The scene moves to Germany on November 9 with the Falcons of Atlanta meeting the Indianapolis colts at the Berlin Historical Olympic Stadium.
Finally, the NFL went to Spain on November 16, where Washington commanders will come up against Miami dolphins at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid.
All international meetings announced will be broadcast on NFL Network.
