The pillar of India, Virat Kohli, announced on Monday his test of testing cricket, leading to an avant-part tribute, to respect and love towards one of the greatest strikers of Indian cricket and statistically his most successful test captain. At the age of 36, Kohli – after 9,230 takes place in 123 tests – offer farewells in the longest format of the game. “They will talk about records and milestones – but I will remember tears that you have never shown, battles that no one has seen, and the unshakable love that you have given this format of the game. I know how all this took you. After each series of tests, you have returned a little wiser, wrote a little more humble – and watching you evolve through all this was a privilege.”
Anushka also expressed his surprise that Kohli has chosen to withdraw from the test cricket so early.
“In one way or another, I still imagined that you are retiring from international cricket in whites-but you have always followed your heart, and so I just want to say my love, you have won everything goodbye,” he also wrote Anushka.
Anushka is a frequent presence in India’s matches, and Kohli has often devoted his centuries to his wife.
Kohli’s official announcement of retirement occurs only a few days after the reports of reports that he had informed the BCCI of his decision to leave test cricket. The 36 -year -old, therefore, will not play in the next five -game test series in India in England in June.
Kohli thus withdraws as the most successful test captain in India. Having led India in more than half of the tests he played, Kohli won a 40 games in 68 games as a captain. His percentage of 58.82 victory is the highest for any Indian captain who led in 10 or more tests.
