The versatile of Bangladesh, rishad Hossain, castigated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), after the postponement of Pakistan Super League (PSL). In the midst of growing political tensions between Pakistan and India, the PCB decided to report the PSL indefinitely on Friday. The PCB initially attempted to move the games to the United Arab Emirates (Water), but the request was rejected by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). Rishad, who was playing for Lahore Qalandars, exploded the PCB for how they managed the evacuation of foreign players.
Rishad accused the PCB for lack of transprance, revealing that the board of directors tried to hide the details of drone attacks. Rishad also revealed that the PCB initially planned to contain the remaining PSL matches in Karachi, but reversed it after the players expressed their security problems with the chief of the PCB Mohin Naqvi.
“Reunion was mainly called upon to know our concerns, which we think of the current scenario. Almost all foreign players said that the only safe place available for the last part of the tournament is Dubai. Yes, the PCB chair tried to convince us to have made two Karachi attacks. The President of the PCB helped us a lot to reach Dubai in completeness by the grace of God.
Rishad recalled the difficulties encountered by overseas players, saying: “Thank God, we reached Dubai after overcoming a crisis, and I feel well now. After landing in Dubai when we heard that a missile hit the airport 20 minutes after taking off from the airport. The news was frightening and srungogenous, and now, we feel the Dubai raised. “
“Each time I go out to play, my family is worried about me, whether the situation is good or not and now when they heard the news from Pakistan – Bombs blasteaux and missile strikes here and there – naturally they were in tension. I personally tried to console them and tell them not to worry about me and they were normal enough,” he said, according to a Cricbuzz report.
Rishad continued by revealing that his teammate Bangladais Nahid Rana, who was playing for Peshawar Zalmi, was shaken by the events.
“Nahid Rana was very calm, perhaps for tension, as I understood. I kept telling him not to be tense and I hope nothing would happen to us. God thank you safely,” said Rishad.
